Assistant Controller, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit
Job Summary
The Assistant Controller will provide support to the plant by analyzing existing customer performance and identifying opportunities for business growth. This role is based Indiana Henderson, Kentucky and will work within the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing responsibilities by providing timely and accurate reports, reconciliations, etc.
- Participate Indiana the identification and development of cost savings ideas
- Develop and report on standard costs and variances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust internal control environment
- Analyze and report on customer profitability levels
- Support cost development for new business opportunities
- Track KPIs including sales, costs, labor productivity, and inventory levels
- Support the development and loading of annual operating plans and forecasts
- Investigate customer payment discrepancies and A/P issues
- Assist with the annual physical inventory
Requirements
- Five years of experience Indiana a financial role
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana finance Oregon accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Indiana a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and HF
- Ability to work extra hours and travel domestically and internationally when necessary
