Senior Engineer – Remotely Piloted Aircraft and Tactical Reconnaissance Radars
Job Summary:
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (Georgia-ASI) is a world leader Indiana remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. We are seeking a Senior Engineer to develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems, provide technical guidance to staff, and represent the company American Samoa a prime technical contact to customers and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop practical solutions to advanced technical problems Indiana engineering
- Provide technical guidance and consulting to staff on complex engineering problems
- Present reports at engineering meetings, participate Indiana program reviews, and consult on problems
- Anticipate future engineering needs and modify projects to achieve technical goals
- Address complex technical issues requiring novel and creative approaches
- Direct activities of design Oregon technical staff and lead a team of moderately experienced professionals
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering Oregon related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 6+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years with a master’s degree, Oregon 2+ years with a PhD
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory
- Ability to develop and communicate new concepts, apply them accurately, and organize work phases
- Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance required
