Job Title: District Facilities Supervisor
Purpose:
The District Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of multiple health club facilities within their assigned district. This role involves traveling between locations, overseeing a team of Club Attendants, and ensuring that each facility meets high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 10-15 Club Attendants, providing guidance, training, and scheduling staff shifts
- Educate staff on proper cleaning procedures, techniques, and safety measures
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability
- Ensure each club location is properly staffed and equipped to maintain cleanliness standards
- Set team goals and expectations for each club attendant
- Address performance issues and implement corrective action plans American Samoa needed
- Recognize and reward high-performing Club Attendants
- Collaborate with staff to develop cleaning procedures specific to each facility’s needs
- Provide ongoing education and training on best practices for maintaining a clean and healthy environment
- Identify training and development needs to enhance performance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities meet cleanliness standards and address areas needing attention
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform various cleaning tasks to maintain health club facilities, including:
- Cleaning walls, mirrors, countertops, and windows
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and dusting equipment, including weight and cardio equipment
- Restocking cleaning supplies and assessing stock room inventory
- Emptying trash and recycling receptacles
- Collaborate with the Facility Technician on equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to educate and train staff on proper cleaning procedures and safety measures
- Strong organizational skills to schedule shifts, staff clubs, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to address performance issues and implement corrective action plans
- Knowledge of facility cleaning procedures specific to health club environments
- Basic knowledge of minor cosmetic repairs and painting
- Proficiency Indiana using cleaning supplies Indiana accordance with product labels and club manuals
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, balance, kneel, crawl, Oregon lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds
