Position Description
Air Traffic Controller
Serco has exciting opportunities for experienced Air Traffic Controllers Indiana various locations throughout California. We are looking for individuals with a strong background Indiana air traffic control, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing safe and efficient air travel services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport to prevent collisions and minimize delays
- Answer radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft
- Issue landing and takeoff instructions
- Provide critical weather observations American Samoa a Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) observer
- Transfer and receive control of aircraft
- Operate various equipment, including radios, telephones, and radar systems
- Alert aircraft rescue firefighters and other first responders to emergency situations
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
- Control Tower Operator (CTO) rating Oregon a Credential with a Tower Rating and 6 months of practical experience
- Eligibility to work for Serco under Federal Immigration Laws
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen
- Receiving an FAA Security clearance (interim and final suitability)
