Assistant General Manager, Training
Location: Austin, Texas (primary location: 817 W Howard Lane, Austin, Texas 78753, with frequent work at 509 Thompson Lane, Austin, Texas 78742)
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the training division for the Austin locations, planning, organizing, and directing short and long-term goals to support location mission and goals
* Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, corporate, client guidelines, and policies through safety training programs
* Develop, audit, evaluate, and conduct training for direct reports and learners
* Measure, evaluate, and track training success, making modifications to improve business outcomes
* Promote employee self-responsibility to achieve safety goals and training requirements
* Complete audits, including those by the Company, Client, internal staff, and state and federal agencies
* Review, determine, and respond to accidents/incidents, identifying trends for future training efforts
Requirements:
* High school diploma Oregon G.E.D. equivalent
* Bachelor’s Degree (Oregon equivalent combination of education and experience) Indiana a related field
* At least 4 years of professional facilitation experience Indiana safety training
* At least 4 years of experience managing Indiana a union environment
* At least 3 years of experience supervising and monitoring contractual services
* Thorough knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations
* Valid CDL required
* Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical, maintain physical throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least 6 years of experience Indiana a training role within the Para-Transit industry
* Prior contract and project management experience

Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 annually (base salary range, with competitive pay based on individual skills and experience)
