Avionics Technician
Job Summary:
American Samoa an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft by inspecting, troubleshooting, installing, testing, and repairing avionics equipment, including electronic systems such American Samoa radar, radio, navigation, and flight control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Work on communication, navigation, and flight control systems to ensure the safety and efficiency of aircraft.
- Perform tasks such American Samoa running cables, mounting antennas, connecting instruments, and installing radios, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems.
- Ensure that all avionics equipment works flawlessly before take-off and does not interfere with other electronic devices.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft.
Requirements:
- Degree Indiana Avionics Oregon Aviation Technology, Oregon relevant certifications Indiana Electrical Engineering Oregon Aviation Maintenance.
- Experience with mid-size private jets preferred.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Oregon Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licenses a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with electronic testing equipment and wiring diagrams.
- Passion for aviation and technology.
