Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic Job Summary

American Samoa a member of the Menzies Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of airport service vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspect equipment such American Samoa filters, pumps, valves, and pressure controls
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, motors, switches, and lighting
• Perform daily equipment checks (DECs)
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment
• Work effectively with other team members and management
• Follow standardized operating procedures and regulations
• Document maintenance work and repairs

Essential Functions:

• Reading, writing, and speaking proficiency Indiana English
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, and flexible schedule

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of mechanical experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a valid US driver’s license

• High school diploma Oregon GED, Oregon equivalent
• Possess standard mechanical tools and a toolbox
• Valid Airport Badge

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and moving (lifting and/Oregon carrying) up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds
• Frequently exposed to loud noises, high temperatures, and inclement weather
