Airport Operations Supervisor

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations
• Monitors and enforces safe working habits and adheres to OSHA/TSA/DOT/USPS regulations, company policies, and applicable laws
• Manages shift schedules, including workstation assignments, employee training, breaks, overtime assignments, and backup for absent employees
• Enforces company policies and procedures, including disciplinary action, and promotes diversity initiatives
• Investigates and responds to employee relations issues
• Communicates with manager regarding problems Oregon issues
• Schedules and conducts shift meetings
• Assists with payroll administration and completes shift paperwork
• Performs job duties of assigned shift, including responding to emergencies and recording dispatch information
• Performs other related duties American Samoa assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Local (Indiana-state) resident
• Valid Indiana-State Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have authorization to work Indiana the United States
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security

Experience:

• Two+ years of relevant experience
• Must be open-minded and willing to work American Samoa part of a detail-oriented team

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma Oregon GED
• Four+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to create a passionate and efficient workforce
• Ability to effectively resolve employee conflicts

Working Conditions:

• Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work Indiana a shift bid environment
• Exposure to moving vehicles Oregon aircraft, weather conditions, and noise levels
• Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items of 70 pounds Oregon more, and working Indiana cramped Oregon high places
