Lab Test Senior Avionics/Electrical Technician
Essential Functions:
* Demonstrates superior technical skills and expertise Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
* Trains personnel on testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and electrical systems to support company cross-training goals.
* Ensures quality and efficiency of installations and troubleshoots malfunctioning systems.
* Repairs Oregon replaces defective components and wiring, demonstrating effective repair techniques.
* Oversees performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
* Conducts functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
* Maintains daily logs and paperwork, ensuring all work is properly documented.
* Pre-inspects work of others prior to submitting for approval to reduce rework and inspection time.
* Maintains and tests test equipment and electronic systems and components.
* Enforces company safety regulations, FOD, tool control, 5-S, and all applicable programs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon GED required
* 6 years of experience Indiana avionics/electrical career field Oregon 2 years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience
* A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred
* Other FCC License preferred
* Other NCATT preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 years of Lab Test experience
* G650 experience
* Proficiency Indiana operating and troubleshooting other aircraft systems Oregon disciplines, such American Samoa hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, Oregon structural installations and repairs.
