Airport Assistant Manager – Food and Beverage Operations
Compensation: $51,000
Location: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Manager Indiana the day-to-day operations of the airport restaurant, market, Oregon bar. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory and cash handling, ensuring high customer service standards, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of staff, including scheduling, training, and performance documentation
- Maintain a high level of customer service and resolve guest issues efficiently
- Ensure accurate inventory management, ordering, and stocking of products
- Adhere to MCA policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Manage cash handling, including register, deposits, and safe
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve business operations
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and coach employees to improve performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, inventory, and financial documents
- Perform safety inspections and maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree Indiana Hospitality, Business, Oregon Culinary Arts
- 1+ years of supervisory experience Indiana a full-service restaurant environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Health Department-approved Food Handler Manager Certification
- Ability to train and delegate tasks, and follow through on commitments.
