Airport Manager
Job Summary:
Under general direction, the Airport Manager manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of a specific functional area of the Sacramento County Department of Airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise staff, including selecting, training, and evaluating employees
- Plan, coordinate, and review the work of subordinate staff
- Develop, monitor, and interpret budgets and other financial documents
- Plan, manage, and complete complex work assignments
- Ensure airport operational needs and public safety are met
- Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with County staff, public organizations, and the general public
- Represent the department to other departments, agencies, and the public
- Interpret and apply applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
Requirements:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college Oregon university
- Three years of full-time paid experience Indiana a related field, including supervisory experience, Oregon a combination of education and experience
Selection Process:
- Continuous filing exam with multiple filing cut-offs
- Formula Rate Examination to evaluate education, training, and experience
- Top candidates will be placed on the eligible list Indiana rank order
