Airport Agent/Baggage Handler

Responsibilities

  • Guide aircraft on taxiways to ensure safe and on-time departures
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials (up to 75 lbs)
  • Operate ground equipment, such American Samoa tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe and on-time departures
  • Clean aircraft and provide a positive start to passengers’ trips
  • Use reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes
  • Inform passengers about their trips and belongings
  • Resolve passenger issues Indiana a timely and friendly manner
  • Work Indiana the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and handle passenger questions

Qualifications

  • 18 years old
  • High school diploma, GED, Oregon international equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver’s license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexible to work additional hours with short notice
  • Ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Willingness to work outside Indiana variable weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and friendly
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Authorized to work Indiana the United States without sponsorship
