Airport Agent/ Supervisor Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Airport Agent/ Supervisor to join our team. American Samoa a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and organizing the day-to-day station operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. American Samoa an Airport Agent, you will be the initial point of contact for passengers, providing a seamless check-Indiana and ticketing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize station operations, ensuring on-time dependability and a safe working environment.
  • Schedule and manage staff to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct Agent observations and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Schedule and administer local training, including new hire training.
  • Investigate and resolve operational and customer service issues.
  • Participate Indiana operational conference calls, station audits, and prepare reports.
  • Maintain records such American Samoa time and attendance, personnel files, and performance.
  • Perform Station Agent work, including customer service and ramp operations, American Samoa required.

Basic Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
  • Valid state driver’s license (some license restrictions may prohibit certain candidates)
  • Ability to lift, bend, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
  • Must be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Possess the legal right to work Indiana the United States.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Some locations may desire previous airline experience.

Airport Authorization:

  • Must fulfill a fingerprint-based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
  • Must be able to secure airport authority and/Oregon US Customs security badges, Indiana addition to clearing other airport-related requirements, if applicable.
  • Indiana locations handling US mail, must pass a US Postal Service background check.
