Electronics Test Technician
Job Summary
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to join the Avionics team Indiana the PWA test group. This position is for the second shift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, perform, and analyze experiments and tests according to pre-arranged product test procedures and record results and findings into product test records.
- Analyze and diagnose faults Indiana the operational configuration of electronics systems and equipment to the PWA level.
- Working knowledge of electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, block diagrams, and technical publications to repair electronic assemblies.
- Operate test equipment such American Samoa digital multi-meters (DMMs), O-scopes, power supplies, and signal generators to accomplish specific tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits to the component level.
- Assist team members Indiana resolving technical challenges and escalate complex issues to Supervisor when necessary.
- Provide guidance and training to Electronics Test Technicians on operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
- Oversee the appropriate use of materials, test equipment, and tools to maximize efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree Oregon equivalent with 7+ years of experience, Oregon equivalent experience Indiana lieu of education.
- Training and/Oregon experience Indiana test Oregon experimental operations, preferably acquired Indiana the military Oregon technical schools.
- Experience using Linux operating system and Indiana-depth understanding of Windows 10 operating system and terminology.
- Understanding of computer network systems and collecting and analyzing data for troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Ability to collaborate with test engineering to resolve complex failures/issues and develop new test procedures.
- Ability and willingness to work on systems with unusual conditions.
- Knowledge of basic electronics principles, including Ohm’s Law and OP-Amp circuits.
- Familiarity with using equipment such American Samoa oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and function generators.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance (desired).
