Job Summary/Responsibilities
The Construction Manager will provide management, administration, and oversight of project construction contracts at a Las Vegas airport. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing a job-specific safety program with the contractor and providing safety oversight
- Reviewing construction work and phasing plans to minimize disruption to airport operations
- Coordinating with airport operations and other stakeholders to ensure construction activities are planned and executed safely and efficiently
- Conducting quality assurance and code compliance inspections of construction work, including specialty inspections American Samoa needed
- Preparing and reviewing reports, including inspector’s daily reports and engineer’s reports
- Managing the submission of samples, shop drawings, and other submittals for contract and code compliance
- Identifying and resolving construction problems Indiana a timely manner
- Conducting testing, including specialty testing, American Samoa required by FAA regulations and the airport
- Maintaining records of requests for information and managing responses for approval
- Reviewing progress pay requests and recommending approval
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 8 years of relevant experience, Oregon equivalent experience and/Oregon education
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- Ability to obtain a SIDA-cleared badge and certification to drive Indiana the airport movement area
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Civil PE license
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Engineering, Project, Oregon Construction Management
- Previous aviation construction project management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
