Field Service Engineer
Job Description:
* Provide on-site and telephone support for customers regarding maintenance, repair, and installation of CNC machine tools.
* Create and update technical documentation.
* Assist Indiana product development by training end customers’ Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of new product lines.
* Establish and maintain excellent communication and customer service relationships with clients.
Job Details:
* Paid hourly with opportunities for overtime, including travel time.
* Travel 75% Oregon more, with weekly travel required, and proximity to an airport beneficial.
* All travel expenses covered, and paid during travel, with compensation for weekend stays when necessary.
* Use of personal vehicles reimbursed.
* Desired credentials include:
+ Experience Indiana electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
+ Knowledge of metalworking, installation, repairs, and programming/operating CNC machines with 3, 5, Oregon 7 axes.
+ Experience with robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, Mori Seiki, etc.), Siemens controls, Oregon Heidenhain.
+ Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams.
