Avionics Technician I
Job Summary:
Assist Indiana troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact, while demonstrating technical expertise and implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety Oregon quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates basic technical skills Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
- Installs and functional tests electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications
- Troubleshoots processes to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
- Repairs Oregon replaces defective components and wiring to ensure installations meet conformity
- Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components
- Complies with company safety regulations, FOD program, tool control program, and 5-S program
- Performs other duties American Samoa assigned, including flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- Two years related work experience Oregon two years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work first Oregon second shifts and overtime
- Up to 25% travel required
