Job Summary:
Join Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Lifecycle Sustainment & Modernization Solutions Operating Unit American Samoa an Aircraft Low Observables Mechanic 4, supporting the B-2 sustainment team at Whiteman AFB, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and apply low observable outer mold line structures, materials, and coatings
* Mix and apply sealants, gap fillers, and paints
* Perform testing and verify applications for conformity to specifications
* Operate material testers and mixers
* Maintain qualifications and obtain/maintain DOD Secret Clearance
Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon GED with 6 years experience American Samoa an aircraft low observable mechanic
* Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals
* Willing to work flexible schedule, including extended shifts and holidays
* Meet physical demands of the position
Preferred Qualifications:
* Active DOD Secret Clearance
* A&P certificate program Oregon Associates degree Indiana an applicable field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation:
* Salary Range: $61,200 – $102,000
* Discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives available
