Aircraft Technician Sr A&P – Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Available Indiana GAC Mesa
Job Summary:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required; 4 years of aviation maintenance experience, 3 of which are on mid/large aircraft; A&P certificate and valid driver’s license necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, modifications, and installations on aircraft systems, including airframes, landing gear, engines, and electrical components
- Provide work direction to technicians, promote quality standards, and act American Samoa Mechanical Team Lead when assigned
- Coordinate with Inspection department to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Properly complete work orders, tag customer property, and store equipment securely
- Use ground support equipment, operate special tools, and coordinate aircraft movement American Samoa needed
- Train new employees on computerized maintenance programs, maintenance manuals, and procedural documentation
- Assist Indiana arranging overhauls Oregon repairs for customer property
Additional Responsibilities:
- Utilize material tracking systems, apply Lean initiatives, and maintain clean work areas
- Implement continuous improvement processes and properly use company-provided tools and equipment
- Participate Indiana flight testing and certification processes American Samoa required
Requirements:
- Advancement knowledge of inspections, FAA regulations, and technical reference materials
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; up to 25% travel may be required.
