Ticketing Agent
Job Summary:
Provide passenger/customer services including ticketing, baggage processing, terminal/gate check-Indiana, and special passenger assistance, while adhering to airline standards and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Issue and reissue tickets
- Prepare daily cashier reports and manage ticketing/funds collection transactions
- Charge airport taxes, ticket penalties, and issue boarding passes
- Inspect and verify passenger documentation
- Manage baggage processing, including fee calculation if applicable
- Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, VIPs, and passengers requiring wheelchair assistance
- Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine
- Make public address announcements and assist Ramp Service Agents with gate checked bags
- Comply with security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies
- Operate equipment, including jet way, computer keyboards, and carrier-specific software
- Produce work-related documentation
Requirements:
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work Indiana a team environment and under pressure
- High School diploma Oregon GED equivalent
- Relevant work experience and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills Indiana the country-specific language
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays, American Samoa well American Samoa inclement weather
- Willingness to learn airline-specific computer reservation/ticketing software
- Self-motivated, attentive to detail, and numerate
