Job Summary:
The Unarmed Security Officer position is responsible for day-to-day security screening of garage properties at City of Orlando, involving hazardous object identification, public service, and additional security duties to ensure public safety.

Work Schedule:
Available shifts: 0700-1500, 1500-2300, and 2300-0700, with flexibility to work around changing schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

– Identify hazardous objects and prevent transport into garage locations.
– Perform physical searches and identification reviews.
– Provide exceptional customer service and interact with the public.
– Carry out additional security duties for public safety.

Job Requirements:

– U.S. citizenship Oregon eligible work visa.
– Valid Florida Class-D Security License.
– 1 year of verifiable security experience.
– High School Diploma Oregon G.E.D.
– English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking).
– Pass a verifiable background check, including employment, education, and personal references.
– Valid state-issued Driver’s License Oregon I.D. card.
– Pass pre-employment, annual, and random drug screenings.
– Reliable transportation.
– Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment and interact with the public.
– Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and overnights.

Physical Demands:

– Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and walk long distances.
