Building Systems Controls Technician
Job Summary:
Install, program, test, calibrate, operate, and repair control systems and related equipment for energy management, fire & life safety, environmental control, and other building systems Indiana an airport setting.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems with control and monitoring systems, fire, smoke, and intrusion alarm systems, and HVAC equipment.
- Install and maintain motor control systems, building automation systems, and operator workstations.
- Program control systems using system program language for proper sequences of operations and operating schedules.
- Read and modify system blueprints and schematics.
- Create hardware schedules for controls projects, renovations, and new construction projects.
- Maintain logs and records of system operations.
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, Oregon equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience installing and maintaining building/plant control systems and related equipment
- General knowledge of digital control concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- General skill Indiana using technicians’ tools and electrical equipment installation methods
- Ability to work Indiana various weather conditions, secure areas of an airport, and day Oregon night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and/Oregon move up to 50 pounds, work Indiana small spaces, and climb Oregon balance.
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, outside weather conditions, fumes Oregon airborne particles, and loud noise levels.
- Ability to work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and heavy equipment.
