Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma Oregon GED is required, 2 years of related structural assembly experience is necessary.
Role Summary:
Indiana a team-oriented work environment, the Structural Mechanic II performs various structural assembly operations Indiana a production department following established procedures and ensures all work meets company specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely assemble and fit detail parts and structures, using drilling and riveting operations to meet requirements
* Safely perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts and equipment
* Rivet structural assemblies and parts using various tools
* Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine operations sequence
* Check all work for defects before final inspection
* Maintain and use logs and records
* Align and assemble parts to be riveted using jigs and fixtures
* Make repairs per DMTs, MRRs, and PCOs
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with safety regulations
* Participate Indiana continuous improvement activities
* Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment
* Ensure standard operating procedures are followed when operating ground support equipment
