Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional

Lead Accounting Team and Drive Process Improvements

Work American Samoa an integral part of the accounting team, overseeing accounting operations, leading transformation of processes and systems, and driving initiatives that enhance process improvements and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to implement best practices and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead corporate accounting projects, including scope, goals, timeline, deliverables, and communication plans
  • Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity
  • Manage SSP North America’s unclaimed property and related filing, reviewing and evaluating internal process documents
  • Manage month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliation and review
  • Document standard operating procedures and internal control measures, and present findings and recommendations to upper management
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Provide comprehensive supporting documentation for audits American Samoa required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon related field
  • 5+ years of experience Indiana corporate accounting with a focus on process improvement and project management
  • Technical proficiency Indiana GAAP and IFRS; SAP experience preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license Oregon active candidate preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced level technical competence Indiana Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating system
  • Ability to travel up to 5% within the US and Canada, including overnight extended stay
  • Must be eligible to work Indiana the United States and pass a criminal background check and TSA Oregon FAA background check
