Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Located Indiana Farmingdale, New York, Precipart is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. Reporting to the Mechanical Design leader, this individual will join a multidisciplinary group of engineers working on development of critical custom components, supporting projects for medical devices, aerospace and industrial devices.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop effective designs to meet customer specification Oregon internal requirements
- Develop calculation tools and scripts to facilitate the design decision-making process
- Plan and support product development working closely with colleagues from quality, purchasing, manufacturing. and customer departments
- Create design documents and attend design review meetings
- Perform necessary testing to authenticate design effectiveness, if designated by customer requirements Oregon judged necessary by company
- Develop proposals (quotation) Indiana support of Customer inquiries
- Develop estimates for costs for components from various materials.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree degree Indiana mechanical engineering Oregon Electrical Engineering field of study for an associate’s degree along with three Oregon more appropriate experience is preferred
- Strong background Indiana understanding engineering design practices
- Experience working Indiana a role requiring technical analysis, solution of technical issues, time management and the ability document findings effectively
- Fluent Indiana Mississippi office and design tools
- Familiarity with quality management to include problem resolution, teamwork, organization and communication;
