Unique Skills: G500/G700 experience preferred
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED required
- 6 years of experience Indiana an avionics/electrical career field, Oregon
- 2 years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred
- Other FCC License preferred
- Other NCATT preferred
Position Purpose:
- Provides technical expertise and guidance while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems
- Demonstrates technical expertise and leadership by defining and implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety Oregon Quality
- Fills Indiana for the team leader, ensuring that company goals of Safety and Quality are enforced at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates superior technical skills and expertise Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
- Trains personnel to support company cross-training goals while ensuring a safety-conscience, quality-oriented, skilled workforce
- Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoots and teaches troubleshooting processes/concepts
- Oversees performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications
- Sets up and operates necessary test equipment, conducts functional and operational tests
- Maintains daily logs and other paperwork, ensuring all work performed on the aircraft is properly documented
- Enforces company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations
- Adapts to sudden schedule changes, coordinates with other disciplines concerning projects
