Accounting Operations and Project Manager
Essential Functions:
- Work American Samoa an integral part of the accounting team to lead corporate accounting projects and transform processes and systems, enhancing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to drive initiatives, address unique accounting issues, and business requirements.
- Develop, recommend, plan, and manage accounting projects, addressing dependencies and overall impact.
- Implement new processes, systems, and technologies to streamline operations and improve data integrity.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transformation projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage unclaimed property and related filing, and review and evaluate internal process documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate Indiana month-end close activities and general ledger reconciliation and review.
- Adhere to company procedures Indiana compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and provide comprehensive supporting documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana accounting Oregon related field
- 5+ years of experience Indiana corporate accounting, preferably Indiana hospitality, food service, Oregon airport industry
- Technical proficiency Indiana GAAP and IFRS; SAP experience preferred
- Certified Public Accountant license Oregon active candidate preferred
- Proven project management skills, excellent communication, and technical competence Indiana Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint)
