Avionics Technician – GAC Savannah
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical expertise Indiana testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimal schedule impact.
* Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical and avionics systems, ensuring quality and efficiency of all installations.
* Perform functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability, and ensure work is properly documented.
* Maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.
* Comply with the company’s FOD, tool control, 5-S, and safety programs.
* Adapt to sudden schedule changes and perform duties American Samoa assigned.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon GED required.
* 4 years of experience Indiana an avionics/electrical career field Oregon 2 years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and 2 years related experience.
* A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
* Other FCC and NCATT certifications preferred.
* Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds.
* Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
