Airline Ground Handling Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Guide aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time departures and arrivals
  • Load, unload, and transfer passenger baggage and cargo
  • Operate ground equipment such American Samoa tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts
  • Assist with cleaning aircraft interiors and lavatories
  • Greet passengers and provide a smooth check-Indiana and ticketing experience
  • Use software to manage reservations, issue boarding passes, and collect fees
  • Communicate with passengers and resolve any issues
  • Monitor baggage and handle passenger inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure flights depart on time

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma Oregon equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors Indiana various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Authorized to work Indiana the United States without sponsorship
