Structural Mechanic Indiana GAC Westfield
$4,500 Signing Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, and drilling and riveting operations
- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using various tools and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations
- Check work for defects and ensure a high-quality assembly
- Maintain and use logs and records, and align and assemble parts for riveting
- Make repairs and perform rework to ensure installations meet conformity
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and comply with safety regulations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 2 years of related structural assembly experience
- Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and perform basic shop math
- Basic computer skills and good communication skills
- Ability to work with composite resins and materials
- Must be able to work any shift, lift 50 lbs, and read, write, speak, and understand English language.
