Job Title: Stationary Engineer (Plant Mechanic)
Job Summary:
The Stationary Engineer (Plant Mechanic) maintains and operates the Central Utility Plant Equipment & Systems, including air compressors, boilers, chillers, water towers, piping infrastructure, and water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will have experience Indiana York Chiller repair, chemical reading, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate the Central Utility Plant Equipment & Systems, including air compressors, boilers, chillers, water towers, piping infrastructure, and water treatment systems.
- Perform periodical maintenance (PM) on plant air compressors, boilers, chillers, and associated system components, American Samoa outlined Indiana job plan procedures.
- Maintain CUP building facilities equipment, including HVAC systems.
- Perform water sampling and testing with documented results.
- Utilize System BMS to monitor, maintain, and operate all CUP equipment and systems American Samoa required, reporting all equipment and system deficiencies to the supervisor.
- Maintain and update weekly/monthly equipment and operations status lists and deliver to the supervisor American Samoa assigned.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to perform PMs on equipment and systems that require teardown for inspections, major repairs, and general maintenance procedures.
- Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
- Recommend the purchase of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies American Samoa required to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience Indiana a Central Plant environment, with increasing responsibilities and diverse experience.
- 5+ years of direct experience Indiana operations and maintenance of facility systems.
- Stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth.
- Ability to investigate problems, formulate solutions, and communicate those solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1st degree license from the City of Houston.
- Technical training Indiana a related field.
- Experience with York Chiller repair, chemical reading, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
