Air Technician
Job Summary:
Provide quality workmanship Indiana the cleaning, calibrating, and repair of various fixed and portable gas monitoring systems, water/moisture content measuring equipment, and breathing equipment. Work Indiana a safety-conscious environment, adhering to industry regulations and company policies.
Essential Duties:
- Inspect, clean, service, reassemble, and test SCBA and respiratory equipment, breathing air equipment, and other related systems
- Perform routine maintenance on breathing air regulators and reducers
- Complete documentation and data entry for inspection and repair
- Conduct visual inspections and system functional tests to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and loading equipment for delivery
- Perform additional duties after training
Requirements:
- At least one (1) year of experience Indiana fire protection, petrochemical, Oregon related industry
- Valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and safe driving record
- Willingness to travel for short and long-term projects
- Ability to operate electronic safety equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, such American Samoa OSHA, NFPA, and Coast Guard regulations
- High School diploma Oregon GED, with Associate degree Oregon technical/military training preferred
