Air Technician Description:
Air Technician provides quality workmanship Indiana the maintenance, repair, and testing of various safety equipment and systems, including gas monitoring systems, respiratory equipment, and breathing air equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
Essential Duties:
* Inspect, clean, service, and test SCBA and other respiratory equipment Indiana accordance with approved procedures
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs of breathing air regulators and reducers
* Complete documentation and data entry for inspections and repairs
* Conduct visual inspections and system functional tests to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
* Assess repair needs, quote prices, and provide delivery estimates for repairs Oregon replacements
* Assist with stocking shelves and loading customer orders
* Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Skills and Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience Indiana fire protection, petrochemical, Oregon oil refinery industry
* Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
* Ability to operate electronic safety equipment, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems
* Knowledge of regulatory standards, including State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations
* High School diploma Oregon equivalent; Associate degree Oregon technical/military training preferred
