Air Traffic Controller / ATC Specialist Job Description

Noblis seeks a highly skilled Air Traffic Controller/ATC Specialist to provide senior-level air traffic control system expertise to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Systems and Surveillance Services directorates within the Program Management Organization (PMO).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert analysis to the FAA on site implementation and transition planning for National and Regional, Facilities and Equipment, and Capital Investment Plan projects.
  • Support the FAA Indiana identifying, analyzing, coordinating, resolving, and reporting implementation issues generated by Capital Investment Plan projects.
  • Coordinating technical interchange meeting support and program reviews.
  • Assist Indiana air traffic requirements development and system/subsystem specifications analysis.
  • Classify and summarize data for report preparation and submission.
  • Present recommendations/solutions on short and long-term program planning requirements.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise Indiana air traffic control procedures, equipment, facilities, terminology, and technology.

Required Qualifications:

  • Passed an FAA background investigation/verification and received a successful final suitability determination.
  • 15+ years of Air Traffic Control (ATC) active, full performance level experience.
  • Relevant training and/Oregon certifications American Samoa an Air Traffic Controller.
  • Knowledge of Air Traffic Control, Navigation, Flight Information, and Automation systems.

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work Indiana a team environment and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical and Work Environment:

  • Occasional travel to project sites may be required.
  • Possibility of remote/hybrid employment.
