Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Airfield Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience washing and waxing aircraft, towing and moving airplanes, and maintaining facilities.
Responsibilities
- Wash and wax aircraft to high standards
- Vacuum and treat aircraft interiors
- Make minor cosmetic improvements and repairs
- Tow aircraft Indiana and out of hangar
- Ferry aircraft (if qualified)
- Perform general facilities maintenance
- Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly checklists
- Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
- Complete audits and logbook entries
- Ensure company planes and vehicles are cleaned and fueled
Requirements
- Experience with commercial polisher and buffer
- Familiarity with wax and polishing compounds
- Knowledge of special detailing needs of aircraft
- Ability to get an aircraft AOA badge
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
