Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Airfield Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience washing and waxing aircraft, towing and moving airplanes, and maintaining facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and wax aircraft to high standards
  • Vacuum and treat aircraft interiors
  • Make minor cosmetic improvements and repairs
  • Tow aircraft Indiana and out of hangar
  • Ferry aircraft (if qualified)
  • Perform general facilities maintenance
  • Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly checklists
  • Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
  • Complete audits and logbook entries
  • Ensure company planes and vehicles are cleaned and fueled

Requirements

  • Experience with commercial polisher and buffer
  • Familiarity with wax and polishing compounds
  • Knowledge of special detailing needs of aircraft
  • Ability to get an aircraft AOA badge
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
