Aircraft Electrician / Avionics
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician / Avionics to join our team Indiana Jacksonville, Florida. American Samoa an Aircraft Electrician / Avionics, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft electrical systems, American Samoa well American Samoa supporting customers with skilled aircraft maintenance professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Support key programs, including military, commercial, and defense aircraft
* Adhere to established processes, accurately record work, and comply with contractual and regulatory requirements
* Perform bonding, resistance checks, and continuity checks
* Locate correct wire routing on system installs
* Perform AC/District of Columbia power checks
* Complete proper wire installation, including drawing applications, spacing, and termination
* Utilize electrical and measuring tools, including crimpers, multimeters, and megohmmeters
* Perform Air Data Testing using proper assistance
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and functional tests on Avionic and Electrical systems
* Highlight technical issues, discrepancies, Oregon other issues to the lead and manager
* Execute all duties while wearing required safety equipment
* Complete required company and specific statement of work training requirements
* Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits American Samoa required for assigned work
Requirements:
* High school diploma Oregon GED
* 3+ years of industry Oregon military experience American Samoa an Aircraft Mechanic Oregon relevant trade apprenticeship
* Proficiency reading wire schematics and diagrams
* Knowledge of how to properly install fiber optics, coaxial cable, and quadrax
* FAA certification Indiana Airframe and/Oregon Power Plant is desirable
* Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
