Job Title: Line Services Technician

Job Summary:
The Line Services Technician is responsible for providing fuel, oil, hangar and tie-down storage, lavatory service, courtesy car transportation, luggage handling, and interior and exterior services to customers and other departments. Additional responsibilities include commercial ramp operations, aircraft cleaning, operations, and commissary duties American Samoa required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fueling and Delaware-icing of all types of aircraft Indiana accordance with specific standards
  • Direct the movement of aircraft and vehicular traffic on the ramp and Indiana and about the shops and hangars of the Company’s facilities
  • Drive and service fuel trucks and ground support vehicles, and service aircraft and ground support vehicles with fuel, oil, and other supplies and materials
  • Provide Delaware-icing service to aircraft when needed and perform groundskeeping and janitorial maintenance duties
  • Assist aircraft crews and passengers by providing courteous services
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas Indiana and about the Company’s vicinity
  • Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections and maintain compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, Local, and Avflight safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years Oregon older
  • High School diploma Oregon GED equivalent
  • 2 years related experience, Aviation experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to push/pull/lift 70 lbs. for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Willingness to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be available to work outside Indiana all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment

Physical Demands:
Strenuous lifting and pulling fuel hoses, climbing and standing on step ladders, bending and stooping to manipulate hoses and connect aircraft tow bars.

Work Environment:
Airport environment, indoors and outdoors, with extreme outdoor conditions.
