Job Title: Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector

Essential Functions:

  • Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations, and inspections on piston aircraft
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems for flight readiness
  • Document nonconforming materials and initiate corrective actions
  • Perform inspections and obtain knowledge, skills, and required certifications
  • Conduct quality control functions, including customer coordination and airworthiness inspections
  • Maintain company and FAA records and inspection forms
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Interpret and perform to the requirements of airworthiness directives and other approved data

Requirements:

  • Active A&P Certification and Inspectors Authorization Certificate (Iowa)
  • Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience on Piston Aircraft/Part 91 experience
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform tasks that require climbing, crawling, and bending
  • Must be willing to work on-site and maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits
