Avionics/Elec Tech II Indiana GAC Savannah
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED required
- Four (4) years experience Indiana an avionics/electrical career field Oregon
- Two (2) years of accredited schooling Indiana aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred
- Other FCC and NCATT certifications preferred
Position Purpose
Provides technical expertise Indiana testing aircraft systems, troubleshooting and repairing system discrepancies to ensure minimum schedule impact. Demonstrates technical expertise by implementing process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising safety Oregon quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates technical skills and expertise Indiana avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting
- Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems on aircraft
- Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations and troubleshoots processes to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems
- Performs and complies with engineering changes and modifications American Samoa required
- Tests and maintains test equipment, electronic systems, and components
- Complies with company programs, safety regulations, and documentation requirements
- Performs other duties American Samoa assigned, including flight tests American Samoa required
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work Indiana confined areas, and lift up to 50 pounds
