Interior Installation Technician II
Unique Skills:
– Previous experience with corporate Oregon Gulfstream aircraft interiors desired.
Education and Experience Requirements:
– High School Diploma Oregon GED required
– 2 years of applicable installation, fabrication, Oregon related experience
– Experience Indiana aerospace industry preferred
Job Description:
Safely perform aircraft removal, installation, and/Oregon fabrication of aircraft interiors including trim, carpet, sound proofing, and other accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform aircraft removal, installation, and/Oregon fabrication of interiors to meet company quality standards.
– Use material tracking system to track parts demand and workflow.
– Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment.
– Prepare and install aircraft interior items to meet quality and safety standards.
– Remove and re-install fasteners and apply proper hardware use.
– Assist technicians with aircraft maintenance and adapt to schedule changes.
– Develop process improvements using Lean Six Sigma and other techniques.
– Perform other duties American Samoa assigned.
Requirements:
– Ability to read, write, and understand English language.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
– Ability to use hand/power tools and equipment.
– Climbing, working Indiana small spaces, lifting up to 40 pounds, and flexible work shifts required.
– Computer literacy and excellent communication skills required.
