Maintenance Technician – Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS)
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, diagnosing, and repair of ALSS equipment such American Samoa parachutes, survival flotation equipment, and aviation oxygen per maintenance support requirements.
- Have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, experience, and working-level skills/ability Indiana:
- Aviation Life Support Systems equipment maintenance testing, cleaning, and repair.
- NALCOMIS and VIDS/MAFs entry and completion.
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent.
- Graduation from Navy Puerto Rico A school Oregon other military service equivalent, Oregon equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience Indiana Navy/USMC/other military service ALSS equipment maintenance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Investigation (NACI).
- Availability for post-offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, and work at heights with fall protection devices.
- Ability to crouch, crawl, grasp, lift up to 50 pounds, and reach above/below shoulders.
- Ability to read dials, identify small objects, and hand tools.
- Ability to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Ability to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
