Aircraft Technician Sr A&P Indiana GAC Savannah:
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED required
- 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience, with 3 years working on mid/large size aircraft required
- Corporate aircraft experience preferred
- Other FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required
- Valid Driver’s License required
Position Purpose
Independently perform a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions, ensuring conformance to procedures, performances, and test specifications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems, meeting quoted Oregon standard CMP time.
- Provide work direction and promote high standards of quality through instruction and example setting.
- Act American Samoa Mechanical Team Lead Indiana their absence, assuming their duties and responsibilities.
- Coordinate with Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements, completing work order sign-offs and paperwork Indiana a timely manner.
- Identify and store customer property and equipment securely and safely.
- Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment and special support equipment.
- Assist Indiana training new employees, coordinate with other departments, and properly use material tracking systems.
Additional Functions
- Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Implement Lean/continuous improvement processes and properly use company-provided tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned, including flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required.
Other Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
- Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials and FAA regulations.
