Job Title: Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic (WG-10)
Location: Fort Carson, Colorado
Job Summary: This is a Military Technician position with the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Aviation Support Facility Carson West. The selected candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining aircraft pneudraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
- Interpret instructions
- Utilize tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 40 pounds
Requirements:
- Active membership American Samoa a Soldier Indiana the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) before start date
- Physical examination required annually
- Suitability Oregon fitness determination may be required, based on background investigation results
- Must be able to work Indiana various weather conditions and be exposed to high-frequency and high-intensity noises
- Must pass a pre-employment certification statement for Selective Service Registration
- Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
- May be required to serve a 1-year trial/probationary period
- Direct Deposit of Pay is required
- May be subject to repayment of recruitment incentive if service obligation is not fulfilled
Qualifications:
- Must be able to do the work of a(n) Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic without more than normal supervision
- Experience maintaining and repairing aircraft pneudraulic systems is required
- Must be able to work Indiana a physically demanding environment and lift up to 40 pounds
