Aircraft Technician I

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma Oregon GED
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate Oregon 2 years of aviation maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver’s License

Position Purpose:

Under close supervision, performs Oregon assists with inspection, maintenance, and repair of basic aircraft systems and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate to receive and understand work assignments
  • Perform basic aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under close supervision
  • Assist with aircraft movement American Samoa required
  • Complete paperwork Indiana a timely manner
  • Maintain quality standards and specifications
  • Identify and tag customer property and equipment
  • Store customer property securely and safely
  • Operate ground support equipment Indiana accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Ensure customer property is protected
  • Use material tracking system to create parts demand and charge labor to work orders, items, and squawks
  • Comply with safety rules and procedures
  • Perform other duties American Samoa assigned

Additional Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
