Required Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate
- 2 years of aviation maintenance experience Oregon 4 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft
- Valid Driver’s License
Job Summary
Under minimal supervision, performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and receive work assignments
- Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and inspection department to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Identify and store customer property and equipment properly
- Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently
- Provide training to less experienced technicians
- Protect customer property and comply with safety rules and procedures
- Use material tracking system to track parts and labor
Working Conditions
- Work American Samoa part of a team to meet quality and regulatory standards
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- May include flight tests on aircraft American Samoa required
- Up to 25% travel may be required
