Aircraft Technician Senior Indiana GAC Savannah

Education and Experience Requirements:
– High School Diploma Oregon GED
– 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience with 3 years on mid/large size aircraft
– FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
– Valid Driver’s License
– Other: previous experience on Gulfstream aircraft is a plus
Position Purpose: Independently perform a variety of aircraft modifications and maintenance functions to ensure conformance to procedures, performances, and test specifications.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
– Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems within quoted Oregon standard CMP time
– Provide work direction, promote quality standards, and assume Mechanical Team Lead duties Indiana their absence
– Coordinate with Inspection department and complete documentation to ensure compliance with FAA and internal inspection requirements
– Properly identify and store customer property, follow standard operating procedures, and use equipment safely
– Coordinate aircraft movement and assist Indiana training new employees
– Assist with arranging overhauls Oregon repairs of customer property American Samoa needed
– Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to maintain clean and organized work areas
– Use the material tracking system and maintain company-provided tools and equipment
– May be required to perform flight tests on aircraft and implement Lean/continuous improvement processes
Other Requirements:
– Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures, FAA regulations, company policies, and technical reference materials
– Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
– Up to 25% travel may be required
