Aircraft Technician Sr A&P
Education and Experience Requirements:
– High School Diploma Oregon GED required.
– 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience, with 3 years working on mid/large size aircraft.
– FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required.
– Valid Driver’s License required.
– Preference given to those with corporate aircraft experience.
Job Description:
Independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance, including removal/installation of airframes, landing gear, engine, electrical, and control systems to meet procedures, performance, and test specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
– Perform assigned maintenance tasks within quoted/standard time frames.
– Provide work direction to assigned technicians and promote high-quality standards.
– Collaborate with Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection requirements.
– Complete work orders, shift turnovers, and paperwork Indiana a timely manner.
– Store and secure customer property and equipment.
– Operate and supervise use of ground support equipment.
– Coordinate aircraft movement, miscellaneous inspections, and other tasks.
– Participate Indiana new employee training and assist with implementing company initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
– Utilize material tracking system to track parts and charge labor.
– Maintain shop, hangar, and aircraft cleanliness.
– Implement and apply Lean and continuous improvement processes.
– Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment.
– May assist with aircraft certification, flight tests, and other duties American Samoa assigned.
