Aircraft Technician Sr A&P
Unique Skills:
* Skilled A&P mechanic with demonstrated knowledge of Gulfstream large Oregon mid-cabin aircraft (Preferred)
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma Oregon GED required
* 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience, including 3 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft
* Corporate aircraft experience preferred
* FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required
* Valid Driver’s License required
Position Purpose:
Independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance functions to assure conformance to procedures, performances, and test specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems within quoted Oregon standard timeframes
* Provide work direction and promote high standards of quality to assigned technicians
* Act American Samoa Mechanical Team Lead Indiana absence and assume MTL duties
* Coordinate with Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection requirements
* Complete paperwork and ensure quality standards are met
* Identify, store, and secure customer property and equipment
* Operate ground support equipment and special support equipment
* Coordinate aircraft movement and assist Indiana training new employees
* Coordinate with other departments for overhaul Oregon repair of customer property
* Apply Lean initiatives to maintain clean and uncluttered work areas
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems
* Advanced knowledge of technical reference materials and FAA regulations
* Working knowledge of company policies and procedures
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
