Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED required
- 4 years Aviation Maintenance experience, including 3 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft
- Corporate aircraft experience preferred
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required
- Valid Driver’s License required
Position Purpose
Independently perform aircraft modifications and maintenance functions, ensuring conformance to procedures, performances, and test specifications.
Job Description
- Perform required periodic maintenance and servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems within quoted Oregon standard time
- Provide work direction to assigned technicians, promoting high standards of quality
- Act on behalf of Mechanical Team Lead Indiana their absence and assume MTL duties when assigned
- Coordinate with Inspection department to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection requirements
- Properly complete paperwork, ensure quality standards, and safely store customer property
- Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment
- Coordinate aircraft movement, assist Indiana training new employees, and arrange for overhaul Oregon repair of customer property American Samoa needed
- Additional duties include material tracking, Lean initiatives, tool maintenance, and flight testing
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures, technical reference materials, and FAA regulations
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
