Job Title: Airport Customer Service Supervisor
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Shift: Full-time, A.M. shift
Base Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Airport Customer Service Supervisor to lead our team of Customer Agents and Leads at Madison Airport. The successful candidate will supervise daily activities, ensure safe and effective operations, and enforce company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Monitor and enforce safe working habits Indiana accordance with OSHA/TSA/DOT/USPS regulations, Unifi policies, and safety procedures.
- Responsible for shift schedule, including workstation assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including disciplinary action, and promote Unifi policies on Equal Employment Opportunity, professional conduct, and diversity initiatives.
- Communicate with manager concerning any problems Oregon issues.
- Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
- Assist Indiana the administration of payroll and complete shift paperwork.
- Perform job duties of assigned shift, including assisting passengers through arrival and check-Indiana processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a local (Indiana-state) resident.
- Valid Indiana-state driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
- Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work Indiana the United States American Samoa defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete SIDA training to obtain airport identification security.
Experience:
2+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work Indiana a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to type and/Oregon use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the requirements of the role.
- Able to understand documents, learn and follow ticketing procedures, and other rules and regulations.
Working Schedule:
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Work Environment:
Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles Oregon aircraft and use radio equipment. Must be able to work Indiana a variety of weather conditions and be exposed to jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt, and dust for extended periods.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/Oregon more on a regular basis.
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to work Indiana cramped Oregon high places.
- Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise team of Customer Agents and Leads.
